Inspired by Slo

When I as working at Samovar I made a friend name Slobodan and he would come in in the evenings and do these beautiful Drawings with Tea. Ever since I'v been inspired to incorporate tea and tealeaves into my art. I started by toning my sketch books with moist tea leaves and hope to make Sculptures from used tea leaves. Here's an example of a sketchbook page with a sketch of one of my creatures. PLease feel free to let me know what you think.

  2. Yeah it can be tricky. I'll use used tea leaves and press them on the pages, this can give you some interesting effects if you're using a mix of teas. My friend uses one of those brush pens that you get from maido and fills it with this really good pu-erh tea then brushes the tea on like water color. I'll post some pics of the toned paper I made with mixed leaves.
